Frequently Asked Question(FAQ)

In the first 11 months of the 2014 Ethiopian budget year, it was planned to create 2,949,293 permanent jobs for 2,137,932 people (72%).
Of the jobs created, 49.7 percent were in rural areas and 50.3 percent in urban areas.

Zoning
It means dividing Ethiopia into environmental corridors (agriculture, industry, mining, etc.) and dividing it into economic corridors. The economic growth of our country depends on the wealth of that area.
International experience shows that TVET institutions are set up with industry diversity in mind. The industry is already based on local resources.
Therefore, it is called zoning to divide economic corridors in order to provide training that can increase that wealth.

It is a matter of organizing classrooms in training institutes based on the wealth or area corridor created in different parts of the country.
For example, in the Benishangul Gumuz region, institutions near the Grand Renaissance Dam should be trained in areas such as fisheries and irrigation development. It also means that the mineral-rich areas are being trained in mining.
