A continental conference focused on African manpower development will be held in Addis Ababa next week.
Addis Ababa: September 19/2016(EZA):- The ministry of work and skills announced that the conference focused on African manpower development will be held in Addis Ababa on September 21 and 22/2016
The minister mentioned that he organized the conference in cooperation with the German International Development Cooperation Organization (GIZ) as well as ‘I Capital’ and ‘Association for Talent Development’.
According to the Minister of Labor and Skills, Technical and Vocational Sector Deeta Dr. Teshela Berecha told EZA, at the conference, there will be a discussion on how to improve the cooperation of the sector of government, private and other stakeholders working in manpower development.
They have also indicated that the international job and skill market is a platform that can exchange experience with regard to its current status.
They pointed out that the platform will make a significant contribution to solving the gaps around job creation and strengthening the ties between industry and educational institutions.
Minister Data has explained that the ideas presented at the assembly will be more potential for the changes started in the sector and the future policy reforms.
Stating that it will enable you to get resources that are helpful especially for foreign job search jobs.
Research articles focused on the demand and supply of jobs, the transition from education to career, the opportunities and challenges of digitalization for jobs and skills, the link between industry and educational institutions, the role of the private sector in manpower development and the next global working trend will be presented.
It is expected that researchers and experts from African and other countries, the United Nations and other institutions including representatives of different international organizations, partners and other invited guests are expected to be present in this conference that is being held for the second time.
